Membership Benefits
Steep in the Heart VIP Club benefits are available only to the active member and are nontransferable unless specifically stated otherwise. Benefits have no cash value, may not be exchanged for cash or credit, and are subject to availability and applicable Taylor Tea House policies.
Quarterly Steep
Members receive one complimentary Steep in the Heart of Texas Signature Afternoon Tea during each three-month period of their annual membership, for a total of four complimentary Signature Afternoon Teas per membership year.
Complimentary teas are for the member only and are nontransferable. Advance reservations are required and are subject to availability. Unused quarterly teas expire at the end of the applicable three-month membership period and do not roll over to a subsequent quarter or membership year. Complimentary teas may not be combined, transferred, exchanged for another experience, or redeemed for cash or credit.
Upgrades, enhancements, alcoholic beverages, add-ons, taxes, gratuities, and other purchases are not included unless specifically stated.
The Birthday Pour
During the member’s birthday month, the member may enjoy one complimentary pot of premium loose-leaf tea accompanied by one freshly baked scone with traditional accompaniments.
The Birthday Pour is available once per membership year, is for the member only, is nontransferable, has no cash value, and must be redeemed during the member’s birthday month while membership is active. Advance reservation may be required and availability is subject to normal Tea House operations.
Annual Tea Flight
Members receive one complimentary curated Tea Flight during each membership year. The Tea Flight is for the member only, is nontransferable, has no cash value, and must be redeemed while the membership is active. Unused Tea Flights expire at the end of the membership year and do not roll over.
7-Day Early Access
VIP members receive access to designated Holiday Teas, seasonal experiences, and special-event reservations seven days before public release. Early access provides an opportunity to reserve before the general public but does not guarantee availability, a particular date or seating time, or admission to limited-capacity experiences.
Priority Reservation Notification
VIP members may receive priority notification when select reservation availability, cancellations, or additional seating opportunities become available. Priority notification does not guarantee a reservation or hold inventory exclusively for a member unless specifically stated.
Member-Only Gatherings & Annual Tea Tasting
VIP members receive invitations to designated member-only gatherings, tastings, and special Taylor Tea House experiences throughout their membership year. Membership includes one complimentary admission to an Annual Members' Tea Tasting, featuring a curated selection of new or seasonal teas. Additional member-only events and experiences may be offered throughout the year and may be subject to separate charges unless expressly identified as complimentary.
All events are offered on select dates and are subject to scheduling, capacity, and availability. Advance reservations are required for the complimentary Annual Members' Tea Tasting. Complimentary admission is nontransferable, has no cash value, and does not carry forward into subsequent membership years.
10% Retail Savings
VIP members receive 10% off eligible Taylor Tea House retail tea, tea ware, gifts, and merchandise during their active membership.
The discount applies to eligible merchandise only and excludes gift cards, memberships, food and beverage experiences, private events, taxes, gratuities, shipping, and other items designated as excluded by Taylor Tea House. The discount may not be combined with other promotions or discounts unless specifically stated.
Complimentary Corkage
VIP members receive complimentary corkage for the first eligible bottle brought during each qualifying visit. Additional bottles are subject to Taylor Tea House’s standard corkage fee. All BYOB privileges remain subject to applicable law and Taylor Tea House BYOB policies.
Private Event Corkage Privilege
When hosting an eligible private event of up to 25 guests, an active VIP member may receive a preferred flat corkage fee of $100 for the event. The privilege applies only to qualifying private events booked by the member and is subject to the applicable private-event agreement, BYOB policies, and any alcohol-related restrictions. Events exceeding 25 guests are subject to the applicable private-event corkage policy and pricing.
Annual Member Gift
VIP members receive one Taylor Tea House member gift during each membership year. Gift selection, design, and availability are determined by Taylor Tea House and may vary from year to year. The annual gift is nontransferable, has no cash value, and may not be exchanged for another item or credit.
Digital VIP Membership Card
Each VIP member receives a personal digital membership card. The membership card is for identification of the member and may not be transferred, shared, or used by another person to obtain membership benefits.
Member Recognition
Taylor Tea House may maintain hospitality preferences voluntarily provided by the member to help personalize future visits. Specific preferences, seating requests, menu items, teas, or other accommodations cannot be guaranteed and remain subject to availability and operational considerations.
Membership Term, Renewal & Cancellation
Membership is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Membership does not automatically renew.
Prior to expiration, members will receive an invitation to renew their membership for an additional twelve-month term. Renewal requires an affirmative purchase by the member and is subject to the membership pricing, benefits, and Terms & Conditions in effect at the time of renewal.
Membership privileges expire at the conclusion of the twelve-month membership term unless renewed. Unused benefits, including complimentary quarterly Signature Afternoon Teas, do not carry forward into a subsequent membership term.
Renewal invitations do not guarantee continued availability if membership capacity is limited.
Membership Changes
Taylor Tea House may make reasonable changes to membership benefits, participating experiences, event schedules, or program terms when necessary. Any material changes affecting an active member’s membership will be communicated to the member as appropriate.
