Dietary Accommodations
Tell us how to take care of you.
We are pleased to accommodate many dietary requests whenever possible. Please notify us of food allergies or dietary restrictions at least 72 hours prior to your reservation.
While we make every effort to accommodate allergies, our kitchen prepares foods containing common allergens including wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and gluten.
Children
Little guests, warmly welcomed.
Children are welcome to join us. We also offer a Children’s Afternoon Tea designed especially for younger guests.
Parents and guardians are kindly asked to supervise children throughout the experience.
Tea Service
Yes, the tea is served hot.
In keeping with the tradition of afternoon tea, our teas are brewed and served at temperatures intended to provide the finest flavor and aroma. Please use caution, as teapots, teacups, and freshly brewed tea may be hot and can cause burns.
Parents and guardians are asked to closely supervise young children throughout tea service. Our hospitality team is always happy to assist with pouring tea if desired.
Dress Code
Come as you are, or dress for the occasion.
Many guests enjoy dressing for the occasion, although there is no formal dress code. Above all, we hope you feel comfortable and welcome.
Celebrations
Marking a moment?
Celebrating a birthday, anniversary, bridal shower, baby shower, or another special occasion? We’d love to help make your visit memorable. Please contact us prior to your reservation to discuss celebration enhancements and private event options.
BYOB
Wine and champagne, welcome.
Guests are welcome to bring wine or champagne to enjoy during their visit. A corkage fee applies; please see our current Corkage Policy for pricing and details. Alcohol may only be consumed by guests 21 years of age or older with valid identification.
Hospitality Service Charge
Is gratuity included?
For parties of 5 guests or fewer, gratuity is not included. If you feel your experience exceeded your expectations, gratuities are always appreciated by our hospitality team, but they are entirely at your discretion and never expected.
To support the gracious, attentive hospitality that is a hallmark of The Taylor Tea House, parties of 6 to 9 guests are subject to an 18% Hospitality Service Charge, and parties of 10 or more guests are subject to a 20% Hospitality Service Charge.
This charge helps us invest in our hospitality team through competitive compensation, ongoing training, and performance-based recognition, ensuring every guest enjoys the exceptional service and warm Texas hospitality that define our tea house.
Photography
Capture the moment, gently.
We love seeing our guests capture special moments, and photography for personal use is warmly welcomed. Please be mindful of other guests and avoid obstructing service or using flash photography. Professional photography sessions require advance approval.

Take the house home.
Love the tea you enjoyed? Our curated loose-leaf teas, signature blends, tea accessories, gifts, and seasonal collections are available for purchase in our home. Take a little piece of The Taylor Tea House home with you.
Accessibility
A welcome for every guest.
The Taylor Tea House is committed to providing a welcoming experience for all guests. If you require accommodations to make your visit more comfortable, please let us know in advance whenever possible.
Reservation Changes & Cancellations
Plans change. Here is how we handle it.
As our menu is freshly prepared specifically for each reservation, cancellations impact both our kitchen and our ability to accommodate other guests. We keep our refund policy strict so we can staff and prepare fairly for every reservation.
- 72 or more hours before your reservation: full refund.
- 48+ hours’ advance notice: 50% refund on experience tickets.
- 24 to 48 hours’ notice: 20% refund on experience tickets.
- Less than 24 hours, same-day, and no-shows: non-refundable.
Notice is calculated strictly from your scheduled reservation start time. For example, a 6:00 PM Saturday reservation must be canceled via Tock by 6:00 PM on Friday to be considered 24 hours’ notice. Please refer to your Tock reservation confirmation for the complete cancellation policy applicable to your booking.
We truly understand that life happens, sometimes unexpectedly. To deliver a refined, luxury experience, we source ingredients and hand-craft our sandwiches and desserts in advance specifically for your party. When a late cancellation happens, we are left with a reserved room and prepared food that cannot be reallocated. Last-minute cancellations also prevent other guests on our waiting list from booking a table we held specifically for you.
Yes! All reservations are fully transferable. If you cannot make your seating, you can transfer your tickets to a friend or family member directly through your Tock account dashboard at no additional cost.
Pre-ordered merchandise (tins, shirts, bags) is 100% refundable if canceled with 48+ hours’ notice. Inside the 48-hour window, merchandise sales are final. If you cannot attend, your merchandise will be held at the shop for you to pick up at a later date.
Our Promise
Afternoon tea is more than a meal. It’s an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate life’s special moments.
Whether this is your first visit or your fiftieth, we are honored to welcome you. A Place Has Been Set Just for You.
Until We Steep Again…
